1st egg in nest 6/7/20. One egg a runt. Collected by self. H.W. Carriger climbed for it. Locality: Alameda, Cal. 1st record available since mine of 1878 or 1879. Nest composed of herewith. Weak on one side account shape of crotch it leant against. Placed 10 to 11 ft. up in crotch formed by two limbs & one snag of small branch about ft. long. The runt egg infertile & light in color as a bluebird's.
