Nest composed of mud and weeds, lined with fine grass. This set did contain four eggs but two were broken by the boy who brought them home. One of the broken eggs I saw and noticed it was very heavily marked with fine specks.

✦ Anecdote
This record is notable because the original clutch of four eggs was reduced to two when they were broken during collection by a young person, and one of the broken eggs showed unusually heavy speckling.
