Yancey County N.C. May 25 1952. Elevation about 5500 feet. Nest well made and deeply cupped, made of straw and rootlets on outside of mud cup lined with fine straw placed about six feet up in a fork of a rhododendron bush in an open spot on side of mountain. Many robins seen everywhere we went in the mountains on this trip found a few new and many old nests. Four slightly incubated eggs, bird on nest when found.
