Nest empty on 22d. Built in a triple crotch on a wild cherry sapling 12 feet from the ground, along creek, in edge of golf course where front trees grow. Compactly made of common fine grasses and mud, lined thickly with fine, soft grass blades; of average size and deeply cupped. I put 6 Robin's eggs, a set of 3, in this nest, intending I believe to keep boys from taking them or the young as they do annually at locality where this nest was built.
