Nest was found empty on the 14th. It was built on a crotch at end of a horizontal branch of a bay tree on a street, 6 feet up along a busy street (pavement) concealed by several upright shoots. Composed mostly of grass stems and leaves and mud, and lined densely with soft grass blades. Eggs were infertile, incubation was started in two and these others were slightly incubated and there was no life in contents.
