Nest placed on horizontal flange 3 inches wide of a sign which I guided on railroad bridge, 20 feet from the ground and within a foot of and under a railroad track. Railroad used daily. Guider painted black. Six feet distant was an empty Robin's nest in similar site on this bridge. Compactly built nest, well cupped, large, made of grass stems and blades, weed stems and mud, lined thickly with soft dry grass blades.
