Nest 18 ft. from ground in a big red maple tree on edge of thicket and 10 ft out on a horizontal branch 3 ft. thick, tree an upright branch just as thick. Composed mostly of grass stems and weeds, lined thickly with dry grass. Eggs elongate in shape. I was McMuellen with me. The Westinghouse Electric Plant was built on site of this nest.
