Burke County N.C. May 24, 1952. Elevation about 4000 feet. Nest about five feet up in a rhododendron bush on edge of mixed woods, made of straw leaves paper and lined with rootlets, large and well made. Nest found nearly finished on May 15. Four slightly incubated eggs. Bird on nest.
