Nest held 1 egg on the 16th and was ruined on the 10th inst. Placed 4 feet up in dense green honeysuckle vines 6 feet high on wire fence near bottom of a meadow containing scattered trees & bushes; completely hidden. Well made of weed stalks, fine twigs, grass stems, several small pieces of white tissue paper, few dead leaves, and lined thickly with fine brownish grass rootlets; of average size & well cupped. Birds seen; for nest.
