In thicket of barberry in meadow, near creek and a wood, built 10 feet up in a white cherry sprout, between a swamp oak and "sour cherry" on an oblique lateral. Loosely made of much wood and grass stems, weed fibers, dead tree leaves, grape vine bark strips, lined thinly with black rootlets. Nest 6" x 4" deep; well cupped. 4 ft. of barbed wire stuff in exterior.
