In a red maple swamp-thicket, 7½ feet up in a thorn and greenbriar tangle, beside a 6" thick trunk of a black gum tree. Large oval, loosely constructed, deeply cupped, made of grass and vine stems, root tendrils, grape vine bark strips, and lined thickly with black rootlets.
