Locality: Anderson, Madison Co., Ind. A stream bordered with shrubs, willows, rose-bushes, etc. 3½ miles south out the Cincinnati, Wabash & Michigan R.R. Situation: 3 feet up in a large bush, below foliage. Particulars: Nest made of grass, grass-stems & cat-skins; lined with finer grass-stems. Four other occupied nests of this species were found at this thicket during the season.
