May 26. 11:16 am on east side of pond 6'2" up in laurel on east side of pond. 5.5 large cedar. No old eggs. 1 pm - go into laurels from road where there is a rock surrounded by ferns. 12:43 am empty. Gone. 11:15 am 25° N 10 sandy WT c. 17-13 up. 5/30. 9:53 am 3 eggs Judson nest. Same. June 5. 10:56 am 3 eggs removed one and put in a control + added white shellacked control. 2CB II - 1 1/4 egg removed has dried yellow mat [2.96 x 1.25 embryo present] 5:46 pm 0 eggs + both dimples no blue. 6/6. 10:57 am somewhat warm all 3 eggs no bruises 2CB II - III. 6/7. 11:36 am one egg control neither, box bruises white egg gone warm 2CB II. 6/9. 8:54 am somewhat warm no bruises 2CB II. 6/11. 9:48 am one hole - 0 no bruises removed 2CB II - III.

Nest NotesNest found May 26 at 11:16 am, 6'2" up in laurel on east side of pond near large cedar. Initially empty, later found with 3 eggs on May 30. Experimental manipulation conducted - eggs removed and controls added. One egg removed showed embryo development. Monitoring continued through June 11 when one egg showed hole indicating hatching.
