6/14 - 5:06 over road, go along channel - on W side of channel in a tangle of prostrate cedars and barberry - at crown of bush on NW side - completely gathered like nest, this clump is 10' N of flat top with a cedar on its E side. Cedar has leaves only at E side (b) in swamp rambling rose 5' NW above clump, fresh pile of small foul sticks beneath 2 rose branches broke. 6/17 c. 6:40 PM - 0? cold eggs (2) same. 6/18 11:25 - 4 warm eggs [2146 X 1790] Sibley. 6/19 10:33 - 3 eggs warm. 6/11 10:56 - 2 eggs gone - warm - saw bush moved when clump c. 30' from nest - no scolding [2217 X 1721] Sibley. 6/18 12:16 2 warm to warm - cold eggs (large baby filling 1/2 to 2/3 of egg actively moving into egg opened, feet preserved). 6/20 9:23 one egg warm, peeped + no bruises C Bennet I. 6/21 3:57 one small baby - had probably flown off nest I.
