Birds common some years and absent in others. Arrive by May 1. Nesting season May 15 to June 1. This set normal in every way. Nest is typical also and was well concealed - just as it rested in large willow branch. Nest: Placed 6' above water in willow by river bank. Made of straw, paper, leaves, boulders, etc. well lined with rootlets.
