Nest was empty on 2nd visit. Situated 30 inches up in dead persimmon, six inches depending from a broken sapling in a thicket on a bluff, in wood along creek, and partly hidden. Loosely made of fine twigs, huckleberry wood stalks, several shellbark twigs broken and a thin layer of grape vine tendrils, lined thickly with fine reddish-yellow grass stems. Quite symmetrical, of average size and well cupped.
