Saw female on nest about 6 1/2 ft. from ground in thick greenbrier tangle on edge of a thicket, by an old field, and fairly well hidden. Composed of grass and vine stems, weed and fine bark strips (broad) and lined thickly with reddish rootlets; loosely put together and of average size. About as early as I have ever found complete set.
