Nest empty on 23d; built 5 ft up in dense honeysuckle in tangle 8 ft high on wild cherry bushes, 5 ft back in thicket along creek, fairly hidden. Well built but loosely made of vine stems, grass stems, broad grass blades (three layers) and several pieces of Japanese bark lined thinly with fine green and brown tendrils; deeply cupshaped of average size.
