Nest built in honeysuckle, rose tangle, 8 feet from ground upon spice bushes ten feet tall, beside a stone wall supported by vines, well hidden, in edge of a wood by grass field. Small but well cupped. Coarsely made of grass and weed stems, weed and grape vine bark strips and fibers, and lined with fine grape vine bark fibres and several dead rootlets.
