Nest was empty on the advent visit; placed six feet up in grape vine entwined red maple about the edge of a thicket in field bordering a road and pretty well hidden against the stem. Loosely made of long, thin, woody vine stems, a piece of tissue paper, several dry leaves and bark strips, lined thickly with very fine grass stems; well cupped and of normal size.
