Nest held egg on 27th. About 7 feet from ground under dense canopy of honeysuckle vines just thick and as under upon a sprout in open wood-lot near creek fairly well hidden. Large well made of grasses, vine stems, weed fibers, tree leaves and grape vine bark strips, lined with fine vine tendrils; well cupped. Egg remarkable for their uniformity in coloration; elongate and large.
