Nest 14 feet up in an iron wood tree by path in border of wood along creek 18 inches out on a horizontal branch 1.5 inches thick and a spray of twigs; fondly hidden. Small and loosely built and straggly, made of fine grass and vine stems and a layer of grape vine bark strips, lined thickly with fine vine tendrils.
