First 25 inches up in edge of a clump of seven thinly grown but thinly foliaged spice bushes 47 inches tall, in a small opening in a thicket, between a many-forked "crutch" and fairly well hidden. Composed of fine weed stalks, grass stems, dead tree leaves (red maple, white oak, spicebush) and a thin layer of grape vine bark strips, lined densely with fine grass stems and lime twine. Of average size.
