Nest was empty on the 13th and was deserted as eggs were wet and it was pouring rain when they were taken. Nest was six feet up in a dense mound-like mass of grape vines on a husky Nannyberry sprout and fairly well hidden. Loosely made of vine stems, and grape vine bark strips, lined with fine vine tendrils; of normal size and deeply cupped. There was a dead snail (Physa gyrina) in the nest.
