Nest in tangle under the border edge of woods situated 3 feet up in a thin clump of thorny prostrate blackberry branches 3.5 feet high partially hidden by tall Jimson plants and other tall weeds. Locally much grass and numerous small dry tree leaves and strips of weeds under well for fine mate stems small and weak cupful. Nest was 20 feet above road (Pine) or bank.
