Nest composed of leaves, weed-stems, and strips of grape-vine bark, lined with reddish vine tendrils. Outside diameter 4.5 inches, depth 3.5 inches. Inside diameter 2.8 inches, depth 2.0 inches. In thorn (wild crab apple) tree 8 feet up, in wooded hollow. Nest was hard to find and on hillside. Birds nearby chattering.
