Placed on cap of girder, beside cross beam and under extended floor of the wooden road (Willett) bridge spanning deep railroad cut, about 25 feet from the railroad and 15 inches under the overhung floor. Large, bulky nest, well made of liberal amount of grasses and weed stems, and mud, lined thickly with fine grasses. There was a nest in the same site several years ago.

This nest was built in an unusual industrial location on bridge infrastructure over a railroad cut, and the collector noted that robins had used this exact same site in previous years, suggesting site fidelity to this artificial nesting location.
